A Member of God's Family

The Christian life is not a solo pursuit; it is meant to be lived together in fellowship with others. Every Christian follows Jesus as a part of a larger body of Christians called the church—which is also described as the people of God and the household of God. This church is vibrantly diverse, composed of a multiethnic and multigenerational array of persons in every social context. Disciples of Jesus actively commit to our aspiring multiethnic family by cultivating strong, healthy relationships with other family members in our city.

Daily Prayer

“God, expand my understanding of the church as a diverse family, provide me with meaningful relationships, and show me how to love and care for my brothers and sisters in Christ.”

FIND YOUR PLACE WITHIN THE AWAKENING CHURCH FAMILY

We believe that before our church is anything else, we are a family. Starting Point is an important step in getting to know our church family. Before you call a church your home, there are some questions you deserve to have answered. Questions like: What do we believe? Where are we going? How are we going to get there?

If you are ready to discover more and connect with our church, Starting Point is your best next step.

Join a Group

We believe that you were not made to go through life alone! That is why we believe that as you grow in your relationship with Jesus, we all need Group Time! Group time is time spent consistently in community, in a small group.

We have groups in our church from all walks of life and all stages of life. Whether you’re looking for a men’s, women’s, or mixed adults group, we want to help you get connected today.

Worshiper, family member, servant, steward, and witness — that’s what it means to be disciples of Jesus.

Discipleship is growing deeper in the five identities of a disciple and leading others to do the same. How is the Holy Spirit of God calling you to live a life of discipleship? What practices and habits are you cultivating as a worshiper, as a family member, as a servant, as a steward, and as a witness? Who are you teaching to grow as a disciple of Jesus?
